How we work.
ONE
Facilitate and host regular plan member education sessions and workplace seminars to provide updates on current market conditions, employer sponsored retirement plan offerings, as well as specialized seminars for members who are approaching retirement.
TWO
Assist new employees with investment advice and support with choosing fund investment options based on their risk tolerance, and completing member enrolment applications
THREE
Ongoing support to plan members such as assisting with rebalancing their investment portfolios, and updating personal information on their account
FOUR
Regularly assess Investment Management Fees (IMF) with the insurance carrier and implement reductions to management fees if applicable. IMF’s offered on group plans are available on a wholesale basis which are priced significantly lower than management fees applicable in a retail environment.
FIVE
We review Fund Manager performance on a regular basis and recommend removal of underperforming funds, or the addition of fund options which would benefit plan members
SIX
We send monthly updates to all employers on the current rates of return data for funds available on the group retirement plan which is provided to plan members for their review
SEVEN
We act as a liaison between our clients and the insurance company, and offer continual administrative support to employers
EIGHT
Conduct thorough retirement reviews by generating detailed illustrations and analysis of income options available to retiring individuals such as RRIF/LIF and Life Annuities.
NINE
Assist terminating plan members with retaining their assets and fund options in a personal plan with the insurance carrier
TEN
Our retirement plans may offer Socially Responsible funds on the line up of fund options which align with the principles of ethical investing.
